138 Cheapside Project

Located opposite St Paul’s Cathedral, 138 Cheapside offers an impressive range of fully refurbished, fully fitted office spaces across the part 2nd and 4th floors, ranging from 3,223 to 13,128 square foot. Designed with flexibility in mind, the interiors of the space are bright and open, perfectly catering to the evolving needs of modern work environments.

The design brief for Object Atelier included the creation of bespoke elements such as the tea point, tea point island, high bench, Zoom rooms, and banquette seating. Each of these pieces was crafted from oak veneer with a clear lacquer finish, providing a refined and durable touch throughout the office. For the tea points and island, Hi-mac’s solid surface was used, combining functionality with sleek aesthetics. The kitchen area, designed in a Japandi style, creates a serene and minimalistic focal point, seamlessly integrating into the overall design ethos.

Key features:

  • Tea point and island: crafted using Hi-Macs® solid surface and oak-veneered cabinetry, offering sleek durability for high-use communal areas

  • High bench table: a multifunctional feature for informal meetings, solo work, or collaboration, designed with clean lines and warm materials

  • Zoom rooms: purpose-built private pods designed for virtual meetings, offering privacy and acoustic comfort without compromising on design

  • Banquette seating: upholstered fixed seating that introduces softness and functionality to open-plan zones, ideal for breakout spaces and casual chats

  • Japandi-Inspired kitchen design: a minimalist yet warm aesthetic that blends Japanese and Scandinavian influences, creating a calm focal point in the workplace
